Beidouxing Training Center for autistic children

Introduction:

Beidouxing Training Center for autistic children, located in Luojiang District, Quanzhou city, was established in 2004 and was officially registered in the Civil Affairs Bureau in 2007. The center is designed to help the parents of autistic children and provide intervention treatment. It is also a private non-profit organization. The center take an integration of teaching, includes individualized education based on scientific teaching in autism, providing excellent services, applying international leading theory of analysis and correction (ABA). During 7 years, we trained more than nine hundred students and provided advisory services for more than a thousand parents. What’s more, we also help several children to attend ordinary primary schools and kindergarten schools. In December 2009, the center became the Base of Educational Practice of Quanzhou Normal University School of Education Science. And on the same month, the center was awarded as "Happiness Homeland".

Service Objects: Children with autism, mild cerebral palsy, mental retardation, language delay, learning disability

Service Forms:

Provide “conduct training” individualized educational programs and pre-school instructions for 2~14 years old autistic children.

Our service is characterized by providing early intervention for autistic children and advisory services for parents. Our center will enroll students all over a year and will arrange the teacher and class according to the specific situations of the children.

Organization Location, Size and Facilities:

Our center is located in Social Welfare Centers for Persons with Disabilities. It has an area of 600 square meters, three classrooms, a sensory integration room, a therapy room, 4 bedrooms, one office room and 1,300 squre meters for outdoor sports. It can accommodate more than 40 training children.
Teacher Resources:
We have a staff of 17, including 11 teachers. More than 60% of the teachers have a college degree, more than 50% of the teachers graduated from special education and early childhood education professional, and more than 80% of the teachers received professional ABA Training.

Let more people know the special group of autism, to improve their living environment, education, social conditions and create conditions for equal participation. Achieve the integration of training, education, and care. Allow more people to participate in the construction of the environment.
