Is selected by the “One Foundation Philanthropy Award”
of Jet Li One Foundation
The ceremony was hold in the evening of Nov.1 in JW Marriott Banquet Hall in Beijing. Seven Award receivers are selected and presented project fund of 1,000,000 RMB. All Award receivers are non- profit organizations working for different areas in mainland China. Stars & Rain is one of them. The founder of Stars & Rain, Ms. Tian Huiping was at the ceremony, and expressed her appreciations on behalf of Stars & Rain. ( the picture)
Ms. Tian said: we are very honored to be one of the first One Foundation Philanthropy receivers. I believe that this will be encouraging us to work more dedicated for children with autism and their families. I’m very grateful for every body doing their contribution for One Foundation and many thanks for countless individuals and organizations, who have been helping us since 1993. Without all these support Stars & Rain would have not been able to reach today’s achievements. She presented her special thanks to Stars & Rain’s team and her son, an autistic boy. That day is his 23rd birthday.
Brief overview About the Jet Li One foundation Philanthropy Awards:
* Norminees: NonProfit organizations in Mainland China that pertain to the five pillars of philanthropy: environment, education, poverty alleviation, health and disaster relief.
* The selection committee evaluates the nominees based on their management efficiency, operational performance, and social influence. The four criteria are as follow:
